Details of the Project
Objective of the project is to develop agro-business concept among the farmer's of Orissa. To introduce the modern technology of farming,innovative-traditional technology of irrigation & water management, towords development of horticulture & Oleri culture.

To improve the productivity in non-traditional farming. The project was designed to implement through user's management method. In the identified location the farmers were selected on the basis of their farm practices, like vegetable , Banana, Turmeric, Chilly, Mango & Lemon grower. A co-operative organization was formed among themselves. |
The project other than the financial aid for land treatment,agro-inputs,like sampling, pesticides & other nutrients were supplied. Post harvest technology like processing preservation & marketing through the user's group was one of the major component. Capacity building in the above farming technique, post harvest management & marketing had given through the co-operative.All aspect of farm & farm management had been considered. All total 26 co-operative farmers had been formed, covering 1126 farmers family.
